Roger Klouda, CEO

Roger Klouda has been the president of MSI since 1988 when he took over for his father, Ed. During this time, Roger has helped MSI receive a number of industry awards and recognition’s. He has also served as past president of many different industry associations. Roger is an avid golfer (11 handicap with aspirations of being a six), a proud grandfather, and he is always there to meet you with a smile.

Steve Hoeger, Chief Operating Officer

Steve Hoeger has more than 30 years of experience in the heavy metal manufacturing industry and brings a unique perspective to mold building. Ensuring that MSI’s customers are satisfied and helping to build the most efficient mold building company occupy the majority of his time, but when it’s time to relax he enjoys anything having to do with water, including fishing, boating and skiing.

Toby Bral, Director of Sales & Marketing

Toby Bral is a lifelong industry expert. When he is not busy at MSI selling injection molds or serving on industry boards, he is often seen cheering on his sons, who participate in many different sports, and his favorite Iowa Hawkeyes football team.

Kyle Klouda, President

Kyle has held several different roles both within MSI and as a consultant in the mold building industry since 2012. Currently, Kyle is the Director of Operations for both Iowa and South Carolina facilities. His focus is on growing solid manufacturing processes and acquiring new technologies to help MSI to be our customer’s competitive advantage. Outside of work Kyle enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and woodworking.

Curtis McFerron, Production Manager (South Carolina)

Manufacturing has always been a part of Curt’s life. Growing up around his father‘s machine and tooling company made stepping into his role at MSI feel like second nature. Curtis started with MSI in 1991, at the Arkansas plant. He moved to the South Carolina plant in 2009. Outside of work, Curt spends his time with his family. He is an avid hunter and fisherman, with a little golfing thrown in the mix.

Chris Waterbury, Production Manager (Iowa)

Chris has been with MSI since 1997. He has held many different positions in the company throughout his career, starting with journeyman toolmaker, EDM specialist, project manager and now production manager. When Chris is not at work he is supporting his three kids at sporting events and finding time to hunt, run and bicycle.

Trish Jones, Controller

Trish joined MSI in 2020 as the controller with 24 years of accounting experience in manufacturing.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Mount Mercy University.  When she is not working she can be found golfing with her husband or spending time with her children.

Karen Weber, Human Resources Manager

Karen has been with MSI since 2016. She started as a Human Resources Coordinator with 6 years of experience. Karen has worked hard to achieve the Human Resources Manager position. When she is not working, her two daughters keep her busy with dance, softball, and basketball.
